A recent extensive tasting of heavy hitters unexpectedly found this wine near the very top among a group of wines averaging more than twice the price. In its prime now, it shows great freshness supporting a wine with nicely evolving notes of nuts, exotic fruit, citrus and subtle oak. A wonderful example of what this fabled Grand Cru vineyard can produce.
