This is Agrapart's tête de cuvée bottling. Barrel fermented in 450L demi-muids. The juice here comes uniquely from upper hillside, old-vine parcels in Avize. 60 year old vines. South/Southeast exposion on soils possessing high percentage of chalk. This is the true expression one hopes for from the wines of Avize, capital of the Côte de Blancs. Bottled in May 2007 without filtration. Disgorged spring 2012. Dosage: 3g/liter. |
