From 70-90 year old Mencía vines, this is an impressive wine that is aged in neutral oak for 16 months. The color is dark and intense with sweet spicy dark red berries in the nose. The tannins are ripe and well incorporated in the wine. This is an impressive wine that shows nice grit but very sexy fruit.
