Produced from 50% Syrah and 50% Mourvèdre, the yields were 35 hl per hectare for this wine. It is huge with a purple/black color, and has strong, ripe tannins. Within a few minutes of opening, the aromas of blackberry and cassis overtake the primary, red fruit. In the middle of the palate, it is big and round enough to drink now, but this is a fully structured wine which should age gracefully over the next ten years.
