Brilliant minerality and poise from this master of the appellation. Nose of citrus and melon. Very long and intense.
2007 St. Bris "Exogyra Virgula": (from vines planted in Kimmeridgian soil). An equally expressive nose of primarily ripe floral and grassy notes precedes the supple and nicely concentrated flavors that possess a seductive mouth feel and culminate an attractively dry and racy finish. This is easy to like as there is plenty of personality here. 87/2009+ (Burghound issue 32) |
