100% Pinot Noir
Vineyards: 15-40 year old vines planted 6500 vines per hectare in Bué and the surrounding villages of Crézancy, Amigny & Montigny.
Production: Hand-harvested and macerated on the skins for several hours to attain a gorgeous light pink hue. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
Ripe, floral notes of violets, strawberries and other red berries. Excellent acidity and a firm mineral core provide the backbone for gorgeous earth and berries with nice acidity. Very complex and persistent with forward, showy fruit.
Pinot Noir accounts for 25% of the Sancerre appellation, of which a very small percentage is made into rosé. Limited quantity. 250 cs imported to US. |
