Named after the single parcel where these old vines grow, the yields here are a mere 20hl/hectare, exceedingly low for this varietal. Crushed minerals compliment the dark berry aromas in the nose and lead into a dense wine with ripe tannins that frame a complex array of fruit, leather and mineral flavors. This wine shows well and is delicious now, but will benefit from a couple years in the cellar to fully deliver on the potential that is obviously lurking below the surface.
