Clay & Chalky limestone soils

Produced from 4 hectares of vines planted 7500 vines per hectare in 1987 in the village of Montigny.

Vinification is direct press, indigenous yeast fermentation in stainless vats. Aged in stainless and neutral oak casks.

This is classic style Sancerre with a bit more weight due to the partial aging in neutral oak. Grassy and tropical notes with some stone fruit come together in the nose and lead into a wine with taught acidity, good mineral and acid texture and a tense finish.
