40% Chardonnay, 25% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Viognier

This is an interesting blend for a white wine from this region. The resulting wine shows beautiful balance with the Chardonnay providing much of the backbone of acidity and the Sauvignon Blanc coming through with most of the aromatics in both the nose and on the palate. The viognier provides the glycerin on the mid-palate. The nose is of minerals, jasmin and a delicate grassiness imparted by the Sauvignon Blanc. The wine is rich on the palate with good crisp acidity for drinking over the next two years. Delicious summer wine!
