| Producer: Clos Marie (Biodynamic) | | Region: Languedoc & Roussillon | | Wine: 2018 Pic St Loup | | 2012 is an excellent vintage for whites and rosés from the south of France. The cool summer favored higher acidity levels which make these wines more graceful and high-toned than they've been for a few years.
Fresh aromatics of gooseberries and some floral notes lead into a crisp, but deep wine with ripe fruit and a crunchy, mineral follow through.
Very classy stuff. Only 50 cs imported to the US. |
